World of Warcraft: Shadowlandsfinally brings the long-referenced and rumored Shadowlands into World of Warcraft’s classic MMO gameplay formula, and has gotten a lot of attention from World of Warcraft players, old and new. Unfortunately, the Shadowlands expansion was delayed from its original release date of October 27, 2020, with no new date being given to waiting players. Today that changes, with the new official release date for World of Warcraft: Shadowlands being set to November 23, 2020. Dates for several in-game events were also shared.

Players will finally be able to jump into World of Warcraft’s next major expansion, Shadowlands, on November 23, with a pre-launch event beginning a couple weeks earlier on November 10, 2020. Finally, Shadowlands Season 1, and the expansion’s very first raid, will arrive in-game on December 8, 2020.

If you’re having trouble waiting, World of Warcraft did recently launch apre-Shadowlands expansion patchto make it easier for players to prepare for the expansion, as well as add a ton of new customization and class options, which should tide most players over until the full expansion drops a little less than a month from now.

Still the best MMO out there

Despite loot RNG, under-tuned skills, and a broken leveling experience, Battle for Azeroth’s end-game raids and dungeons remain a ton of fun to experience with friends, especially if you’re not new to the game.
