It appears as though the Xbox Game Pass $1 trial has once again been removed. As reported byEurogamerand others the offer, which gave new members a 14-day Game Pass Ultimate trail of just $1, is no longer available onthe sign-up page on Xbox.com.

This after the long-running $1-for-your-first-month offer was first suddenly cut earlier this year, only to return a few months laterbefore being reduced to a 14-day trial. At this point it isn’t known whether the trial of gone for good.

Curiously, the removal of the $1 trial comes just ahead of next week’sStarfieldrelease. (For those who bought the Premium Edition, early access will begin on Friday, September 1).

Next month will also see thetransition of Xbox Live Gold into Xbox Game Pass Core. This slightly more affordable Game Pass tier will offer over 25 games from the Game Pass catalog includingGounded,Psychonauts 2,Forza Horizon 4and more.Starfieldhowever will not be included in the Game Pass Core lineup.
