Xbox Game Studios shares multiple stats, gameplay for Xbox Series X and S games coming later this month

Aaron Greenberg, General Manager of Games Marketing at Xbox, shared several stats for Xbox Game Studios' 2020 today. Among these stats is the fact that Xbox Game Studios will have released 15 games this year so far onceAge of Empires III: Definitive Editionlaunches on October 15.
Of these many games released,Ori and the Will of the WispsandMicrosoft Flight Simulator 2020stand out as critically-acclaimed, with Metacritic averages of 90 and 92 respectively. 1.66 billion hours of Xbox Game Studios titles were played so far this year, with players logging over 26 million flights in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
Greenberg also noted how new survival gameGroundedcrossed a million players, whileSea of Thieveshas crossed over 15 million players.
Several more Xbox Game Studios titles are on the way, such asHalo Infinitein 2021, as well asAs Dusk Falls,Avowed,Everwild,Fable,Forza Motorsport,Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2andState of Decay 3. Even more games yet to be announced are on the way with Microsoft acquiring ZeniMax and the addition ofBethesda Softworksto the Xbox family.
Interestingly, Greenberg also shared that more details on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series SOptimized gamesare coming later this month, alongside gameplay footage for the titles, so we’ll be sure to be on the lookout for these updates. TheXbox Series X and Xbox Series Sare scheduled to arrive on November 10.
