Earlier today,Microsoft confirmedthat theXbox Series Xis scheduled to launch at some point in November, narrowing down further from the vague “Holiday 2020” that had been present beforehand. Going beyond that, we may now have an exact date of Nov. 6, though this requires a little digging.

The Xbox Series X is likely not the only console Microsoft is launching in the holiday season. Rumors havelongpersisted of a cheaper and weaker next-generation entry codenamedProject Lockhart. Leaked box descriptions for a Robot White Xbox Series X controllermention compatibility with Xbox Series Smake this console all-but-confirmed.

Now, according to Tom Warren at The Verge, the boxes for these controllers have stickers that say “Do not sell or display before November 6.” It’s possible this is a placeholder date but it’s also possible this is the exact day the new Xbox consoles will go on sale.
