What you need to know
While Microsoft finally revealed pricing and release dates for its two upcoming next-generation consoles, theXbox Series XandXbox Series S, we didn’t yet see retail packaging. That has changed thanks to a listing on Canadian retailerThe Source, which shows us the box that the Xbox Series X will be packaged in.
The internal 1TB SSD is boldy displayed on the box, a useful thing to put forward considering the SSD in the Xbox Series S is identical but only 512GB. Both consoles support theexpansion cardsMicrosoft has developed in partnership with Seagate.
TheXbox Series X and Xbox Series Sare both set to release on November 10, 2020. Preorders are scheduled to open on September 22, 2020. The Xbox Series X will cost $499 while the Xbox Series S will cost $299. The release dates of several games have been bumped up to match the new consoles, including Assassin’s Creed Valhalla andYakuza: Like a Dragon.
